OOF is an animation collective based in Philadelphia. OOF makes and hosts screenings of experimental animations.
Harvey Benschoter is an animator and filmmaker. His work has been shown at the Chicago Underground Film Festival, The Ann Arbor Film Festival, The New Museum in New York, The Institute Of Contemporary Art in Philadelphia, The British Film Institute, and many others. He lives in Philadelphia.
Amy Cousins is an interdisciplinary artist from Houston, Texas. She holds a BFA in Printmaking from the Maryland Institute College of Art and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Printmaking at the Tyler School of Art. She works across media of printmaking, stop-motion, ceramics, sculpture, and fabric, and hopes to one day do everything else, too. Her work explores the entanglement of identity, desire, and societal pressures.
Jennifer Levonian makes animations and paintings in Philadelphia, PA. Her work has been exhibited across the United States, including at the Philadelphia Museum of Art; the National Portrait Gallery, Washington, D.C.; Asheville Museum of Art, Asheville, NC; and the Contemporary Museum, Baltimore, MD. She has attended residencies at Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture, Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, Millay Colony for the Arts, and the Atlantic Center for the Arts. Her work has been featured as a "Critic's Pick" in ARTnews and as "Editor's Choice" in BOMB magazine. In 2009, she was awarded a Pew Fellowship in the Arts. In 2010, her work was included in "Women to Watch," an exhibition at the National Museum for Women in the Arts, Washington, D.C.
Jacob Rivkin is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Philadelphia, PA. His artwork focuses on perceptions of landscape—which includes culturing cheese from a moon meteorite, constructing a compass that points to the closest mountain and inland body of water, and films which feature three dimensional creatures made of hand-drawn animation journeying through remote wilderness. His animations have screened at the Animation Block Party in Brooklyn, NY, The National Museum of Australia, Canberra, Space 1026, Philadelphia, PA and the Arlington Arts Center in Arlington, VA.
Ash Static spends her days sciencing and every other free moment animating and illustrating. Her work has been showcased at various Philadelphia and San Francisco venues. She is currently working on a few personal and collaborative projects. While she loves sleep, if it somehow became unnecessary so she could get more done in a day, that would be greatly appreciated.
